Repairing robots
Repairing robots brings offline robots online. Most robots are placed in bands at increasing distances from the landing pad. See Robots.
Find and repair
A robot-finding task can appear after the referring robot has its own finished hut. Its compass direction is measured from that hut.
An offline robot's card lists the components it needs. The first robots need one battery, and the next group needs one lens. More distant robots need one lens plus one circuit or casing. Deliver the parts and hold the action button to complete the repair. Some robots teach recipes as soon as they are online, including machines from the Mechanic.
What they do
Most housed robots walk near their huts between jobs. Hauling jobs run during work hours.
At an expanded hauler or scout hut, you can request services even when the owner is away. The Hauler carries a marked load to an unfinished building site that needs it. The Scout marks the nearest deposit of a resource on your map. A robot living in its own finished hut can give one recipe per day while it has recipes left.
The demo includes Buddy and five other robots: the twins, the Mechanic, the Scout, the Hauler and the Excavator. See Building huts and Demo and full game.
Full-game work
FULL The Generator teaches power equipment recipes when repaired. After a hut expansion, the Roller can pave a marked route during work hours.
