Build the Antenna from Buddy's recipes. Once the Mechanic is online and has a finished hut, he can walk out and repair it. Answer the first transmission at the rocket to learn the Drone Pad recipe. After that first transmission, you can answer a daily call at the rocket during its call window.
Build the pad on level ground. Its first delivery arrives the following morning. Empty that pod, then the first request appears the next morning.
Fill the request
Read the request on the pad card and load the required goods. The first request is always a crop. Later requests can include wood, stone, planks, Fiber, Resin and fruit. Once the full load is ready, send the drone. It returns the next morning with a pod of parts or seed packets. Parts can include Wire, circuits and casings. Empty the pod to finish the exchange. The next request arrives the following morning.
In the demo, crop requests are limited to Wheat, Carrot and Radish. Requests for materials and fruit are still available. See Farming and Demo and full game.
